Kathy Williams is a IECA Certified College Counselor & College Advisor. As a retired business school teacher, Kathy has over 30 years of combined education & industry experience. Starting out her career as a Financial Analyst at Merrill Lynch, Kathy realized that she wanted to share her learnings and educate others on the intricacies of the business world. Kathy went on to get a Master’s Degree in Education and soon after began teaching business education courses to high school students full-time out on the North Fork of Long Island.

Throughout her years teaching, Kathy recognized that her high school students needed more help in order to find the right college for them. Kathy decided to create a course called ‘College Preparation’. This was a course to help inform and aid students in their college hunting process. Kathy has since retired from Southold High School and has started her own Independent College Counseling business to continue to help students along every step of their college application process.
